Carassauga Festival of Cultures, Canada’s second largest multicultural festival, is gearing up for its 28th celebration taking place throughout Mississauga on May 24, 25, and 26, 2013.
Experience the tastes, sights and sounds of countries across the globe in 28 Pavilions located across Mississauga. Watch folklore dances, indulge your palate with culinary dishes and purchase art, artifacts and fashion from the four corners of the earth!
Kids can come and enjoy fun-filled activities at the Kids Zone located at the Hershey Sports Centre soccer field to participate in games, energizing activities and children’s entertainment! Kids can also meet Carassauga’s Mascot Carra and have their picture taken with him.
Admission: Visitors are granted entry with a Carassauga Passport that will be stamped as they move from Pavilion to Pavilion. The 2013 Canadian Figure Skating Championships will be held in
Mississauga, for senior skaters from January 18-20, 2013 at the Hershey Centre. The
event will host Canada’s best figure skaters as they vie for spots on the national team and
international assignments.
All competition events and official practices will be held at the
Hershey Centre, located at 5500 Rose Cherry Place in Mississauga,
Ontario.

Food and Toy Drive
You can make this holiday season bright for local families and children by donating to the City of Mississauga’s Food & Toy Drive.
Unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items can be left under the tree in the Great Hall of the Civic Centre and will go directly to the Salvation Army’s Christmas assistance program. Last year, over 2,200 Mississauga families, including more than 3,600 children, received assistance with food and toys through this program.
